Re: Door Prizes

Dear BBA Members:

    Please look through your book shelf and boxes of stuff that has piled up and stash of collectibles and pictures that have been placed out of view and consider bringing one or more of these to the BBA to be given away as a door prize at a regular BBA meeting. The club could greatly improve its ability to financially sponsor Fletcher High School graduates and maybe other Beach related organizations that could use our help. Remember, even a can of spinach is acceptable. I am sure that you can find many items around your office and home that can be donated for this very worthy cause. The cost to purchase a door prize ticket remains at one dollar and I believe that a greater number of tickets can be sold if there are a greater number of door prizes. Last Monday we collected approximately $15 in ticket sales and a lucky member received $10 in 50/50 cash. We can do much better and I solicit your help with this. This is a very important part of what the BBA is able to do and each of us must do our part.

     We have a few members that may be willing to place items up for auction but we must be able to bid a reasonable amount that will not only make the donor happy but also improve the BBA ability to donate money. We are a Non-Profit organization and can receive cash donations outside of the door prizes and 50/50. Please do your best to help.
